Boxer Pups Tips

Tuesday, August 5th, 2008

Training boxer pups can be a tricky task, but believe me it can and must be done! Wherever you found the boxer puppies for sale, they should be able to offer some advice, but here are some tips:

For toilet training, use a positive method. If your puppies go to the toilet outdoors like they should, give them a reward. If they do it wrong (go indoors etc), simply ignore them. This method of positive reinforcement has been shown to work in as little as a few days to a week!

Boxers only need to be washed rarely. This is because of their short coat of fur.

Remember it is best and easiest to train your boxer puppies when they are young so when they grow up they are well trained and a pleasure to be around. They have a tendency to jump up on people if you don’t train them out of it, so be sure to look out for that and be prepared to look after your boxer puppies properly. I also suggest learning how to stop puppy from crying!

Boxer Puppies Barking And Playing

These are some very cute boxer puppies. Boxers are highly intelligent and good at reading humans. If you don’t have the ability to be a strong alpha leader be sure to get a passive boxer. A weak owner can make a good boxer go bad with poor training

Boxer Puppies Dog Breed Information

Boxer Puppies and grown boxers have some very distinctive characteristics. Boxer dogs and puppies are very loyal and strong as well as being rather lively animals. They are pride dogs but I wouldn’t go so far as to say that they are arrogant. Their energy levels are extremely high and are intelligent at the same time as being loving and brave.

In terms of the adult boxers coat (as opposed to the puppies coat) they are an “average shedder” and they shed their fur all year round. Their coat is short and shiny and has white patches on the stomach and feet and sometimes on their faces.

Boxers require obedience puppy training and a owner who acts dominantly towards them but not harshly. The trainer must be consistent in being firm and fair and being a competitive environment with other boxers is a benefit. Boxers lean fast, as I said they are intelligent dogs.
